1. Barometric (pseudo Kriek Style Ale) 5.2% ABV
Kriek is a Belgian lambic style ale brewed with cherries. Typically quite tart with a strong cherry note. Our take on this is not wild fermented, instead fermented with a blend of Belgian yeast and Sourvisiae, a yeast that can create lactic acid. The addition of cherry puree creates a light pink hue and gives this beer its signature taste. Aged on oak staves for a mild woody vanilla character. Mildly tart with flavors reminiscent of cherry pie. This beer shares the same malt bill as Neptune’s Bounty (La Biere De Mars)
2. Stovepipe Hat (dry irish stout) Nitro 4.9% ABV
Dark with ruby hues and a thick beige head, thanks to nitro serving. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, and toffee. Medium/light body with light roast, caramel, and bready flavors. Smooth creamy texture. Slainte!
3. Pennyfarthing: (English Mild) 5% ABV
An instant favorite among many, this golden hue English ale boasts aromas of sweet floral honey mixed with light citrus zest. This quaffable ale is floral with notes of honey, citrus, and bready biscuits. The light dry finish does not stop the flavors of this beer from leaving the pallet quickly, this beer has a nice lasting flavor that sticks with you till your next sip.
4. 24 PORTER (AMERICAN PORTER) 5% ABV
Being located on Porter Rd it is only appropriate for us to make a porter a style enjoyed by us both! Our inaugural Porter is Deep Ebony in color with aromas of caramel, coffee, chocolate, and light bread crust reminiscent of a café. At first sip layers of toasted caramel, light coffee, and sweet chocolate flood the senses all wrapped up in a balanced soft medium bodied easy drinking beer.
5. Little Zep: (Session NE IPA) 3.6% ABV
Hazy straw to golden in color with bouquet of tropical fruits (papaya, mango, pineapple and yuzu). The flavors match the aroma with tropical fruit notes along with strong citrus backbone. Hazy New England style with an easy drinking sessionable strength loaded with aroma and flavoring from generous double dry hopping.
6. CLOUD HOPPER: (NEW ENGLAND IPA) 6.6% ABV
Our flagship (or should we say Airship!) NEIPA, hazy sun gold in color. Aromas of tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, and orange jump out with a light undertone of dank. Medium bodied ale with huge tangerine, pineapple, and mango flavors. This Hazy IPA is balanced and smooth.
7. Choose Your Own Adventure (New England IPA) Collaboration with Lost Shoe, Twisted Fate, and Time & Materials) 6.7% ABV
4 Breweries came together to collaborate on one base recipe with cellar side choices that were each their own. All are brewed with pilsner malt and oats, also all hot side hopped with Galaxy. In our version it is dry hopped with more Galaxy, Motueka, and Waimea along with AU tropical Terpenes. Fermented with a new hybrid IPA yeast from Lallemand called Pomona named for the Greek goddess of fruit trees. Big peach notes along with tropical and lime citrus flavors.
8. BLACK IRON FURNACE: (BLACK IPA) 8% ABV
This is one of our favorite beers! One of the first beers we brewed together as homebrewers, it has always been a favorite among our friends! Delightfully hopped with US and Australian hops, its color is Dark Mahogany with aromas of pine, sweet orange, stonefruit, roasted coffee, and dark chocolate. Tastes of pineapple mixed with stonefruit compliment the flavors of chocolate and light pine. This medium body ale will linger on the pallet with a bright hoppy lasting pine, and stonefruit flavors.
9. Isaac Davis Brown (Colonial Brown Ale) 5.9% ABV
Walnut colored ale with light cream colored head. Aromas of honey, brown sugar, and toast, with a light undertone of nuttiness. Toasty and slightly nutty up front with light citrus, burnt caramel, and prune flavors in the finish coming from the molasses used in this beer. A very mild undertone of smoke invokes the notion of traditional malting and brewing techniques utilizing open fires. Finishes smooth and with a light minerality. This beer is a collaboration with the Acton 250 committee to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
10. Luftballon (German Rotbier) 4.5% ABV
German for “red beer” Rotbier is a historic malt forward franconian lager. Bright red with aromas of caramel, biscuit, and mild hop spice. A balanced minerality from the hard water used to brew this compliments the sweet caramel and toast notes. Finishes fairly dry with light fruity and spice hop character. What is a Lukr Tap?! This is a specialized Czech faucet to pour beer that will give you a different way to experience your beer. This tap controls the amount of foam on your beer. This foam is different too; It’s a wet foam containing 90-95% beer unlike dry foam on most beers which is 90% CO2 from keg head pressure.
There are 3 Pours with this tap Hladinka, Šnyt, and Mlíko. Hladinka; “standard pour” looks like your standard pour with a few fingers of foam. Šnyt; “Half pour” mug filled half way with one half beer and one half foam. Mlíko; “Milk Pour” This is a full Mug of wet Foam with a touch of beer on the bottom. this is drank quickly as to best enjoy the foam. Important to note: Mlíko Are a full glass of beer though it does not look it. Enjoy the foam!
Limited tap:
Habanero Piw Paw (Polish Grodziskie) 2.9% abv
Our base Grodziskie got treated to a touch of heat and flavor with the addition of local habanero and habanada (no heat) peppers. On the nose notes of stonefruit, pepper, and wafts of smoke. Bright, almost crystal clear with a thin head. Flavors match the aromas with fruity and peppery notes up front, smoke hits the middle of the palate, and the touch of heat finishes with warmth that hits the back of the mouth. The heat does not build but rather maintains its light potency throughout the drinking experience.
Double Cloud Hopper (Double NEIPA) 8%ABV
When the brew is stronger than intended Cloud Hopper got a bigger brother, Double Cloud Hopper! This is an amped up version of Cloud Hopper with more alcohol and more hops (3+ pounds per barrel).
